What You’ll Be Doing:
Reporting to the Spa Operations Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in driving spa excellence while balancing hands-on treatments with team development and operational leadership. This unique position offers the perfect blend of guest interaction, mentorship, and strategic responsibility.
You will:
Deliver exceptional, personalized guest experiences with professionalism and warmth.
Bring Fairmont’s core values to life through every interaction.
Lead, coach, inspire, and support a talented team of therapists to consistently exceed guest expectations.
Facilitate engaging training sessions focused on treatment techniques, service standards, and product expertise.
Ensure LQA treatment standards are upheld at the highest level.
Lead daily briefings and team meetings that energize and motivate.
Oversee skincare and spa consumables inventory management.
Drive revenue through confident retail recommendations and treatment enhancements.
Track and report therapist KPI performance and contribute to business growth.
Conduct meaningful performance reviews and ongoing coaching conversations.
Lead by example through active floor presence and attention to operational detail.
Maintain exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and health compliance standards.
Resolve guest concerns efficiently and create positive outcomes.
Step confidently into leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Assistant Spa Manager.
Perform a wide variety of luxury spa treatments including skincare, massage, body treatments, nail services, and waxing.
Build and nurture a loyal repeat clientele.
Deliver memorable spa experiences in both beautiful indoor and outdoor settings.
Support exciting hotel initiatives, promotions, special projects, and events.
About the Role
This position offers a dynamic and balanced schedule:
4 days dedicated to treatments + 1 day focused on administration and leadership responsibilities
A role designed for someone who enjoys staying hands-on while making a meaningful impact behind the scenes.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Has:
Diploma in Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy and/or an Esthetician license.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory and training experience within a luxury hotel spa environment.
First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
A natural passion for guest care with a calm, polished, and professional approach.
Proven ability to coach teams and drive performance.
Strong leadership presence with exceptional communication skills.
Outstanding organization and multitasking abilities.
Confidence working in a fast-paced luxury environment.
Experience collaborating within diverse and multicultural teams.
A flexible, dependable approach, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
