Summary of Responsibilities
Reporting to the Lead Spa Therapist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Consistently delivering professional, engaging, and proactive guest service while supporting your colleagues.

  • Demonstrating Fairmont core values in all guest and team interactions.

  • Providing exceptional massage and body treatments, including Swedish, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Body Scrubs, and Body Wraps.

  • Performing skin care services using facial equipment.

  • Confidently delivering depilatory waxing services, including intimate waxing.

  • Providing nail services such as natural nail spa manicures, spa pedicures, and gel nail applications.

  • Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and well-organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and properly maintained.

  • Generating revenue through effective product and service recommendations.

  • Addressing guest concerns promptly, completing all required documentation, and notifying management and relevant departments as needed.

  • Adhering to all corporate, hotel, departmental, and safety policies and procedures.

  • Participating in hotel committees, special projects, events, and promotional activities as required.

  • Following all Health & Safety training, guidelines, and best work practices.

  • Performing additional duties and assignments as requested by the department.

Qualifications

  • A valid Aesthetician/Cosmetology license, Beauty or Spa Therapy diploma, or UK-equivalent NVQ 3 Beauty Therapy qualification is required.

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in massage, beauty, and spa therapies within a luxury hotel environment is strongly preferred.

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification is strongly preferred.

  • Strong guest-service focus with the ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional at all times.

  • Energetic with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and diverse team.

  • Strong work ethic; responsible, reliable, and able to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.

  • Moderate visual effort.

  • Ability to perform effectively in a busy, high-energy environment.

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary

  • Annual Live-out: $25,251.20

  • Annual Live-in: $19,822.40

All Spa Therapists earn a 10% commission on services performed and retail sales. In addition, all services are subject to a 17% gratuity payable directly to the service provider. With commissions and gratuities, therapists can earn an average annual salary of £65,045.75 (BMD $77,000.00).
