Position: Spa Therapist | Full-Time

Your Role

As a valued member of our Spa team, you will report to the Lead Spa Therapist and be responsible for delivering personalized, high-quality treatments that leave a lasting impression. Your commitment to guest satisfaction and teamwork will shine in everything you do.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing warm, professional, and intuitive service to every guest

  • Upholding Fairmont’s values and standards in every interaction

  • Performing a wide range of treatments, including:

    • Swedish, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone Massage

    • Body Scrubs and Wraps

    • Advanced skincare treatments with facial machinery

    • Full-body waxing services, including intimate waxing

    • Natural and gel nail care: manicures and spa pedicures

  • Recommending services and retail products to enhance the guest experience

  • Maintaining pristine treatment spaces and ensuring equipment is in safe, working order

  • Addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally

  • Participating in team projects, hotel events, and special promotions

  • Complying with all safety, health, and hotel policies

What You Bring

  • Qualifications:

    • Valid Aesthetician/Cosmetology license or equivalent (NVQ 3 in Beauty Therapy or Spa Therapy Diploma)

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years in a luxury spa/hotel setting preferred

  • Certifications:

    • First Aid & CPR certified (preferred)

  • Key Attributes:

    • Warm, energetic, and engaging demeanor

    • Excellent communication and guest-service skills

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

    • Team-oriented mindset with cultural sensitivity

    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

    • Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods in a busy environment

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary:

  • Live-out: £18,408.12 ($25,251.20 BMD)

  • Live-in: £14,450.53 ($19,822.40 BMD)

Incentives:

  • 10% commission on spa services and retail sales

  • 17% gratuity added to every service – fully payable to you

  • Average Annual Earnings (including gratuities and commission): £65,045.75 ($77,000.00 BMD)
